I have long been curious about a certain member of the Carrigafoyle Sandes family who figured into the story of my own ancestors. For years I was unable to find any reference to him but with the help of your excellent Sandes Ancestry website I think I have established old George's identity with some certainty, though a few questions remain.

I put together a paper for you containing all of the references to this fellow in my family history along with a few helpful images. It is saved in MS Word format so I hope you will have no trouble viewing and saving it. The old memoir that contains these references was written in the mid 19th century by my grandfather's Irish immigrant grandfather. He was as careful and accurate as he was able to be, drawing mostly on his own memories of his time in Ireland and the stories his father told him.
